The Park cost in the region of $2.2m to create, it has taken 5,000 hours of work, 6kms of turf, 150 trees, 200 shrubs, 900 native grasses planted ... and for us we laid 392m² of Rosehill TPV rubber.
Touched By Olivia - Livvi's Place, Ryde Council.
Touched by Olivia is a national charity building inclusion through play. The charity was formed in Australia in 2006 by the Perkins Family, following the loss of their baby daughter, Olivia to a rare disease.
With a strategy aimed at creating healthier and happier lives for children, our core focus centres on creating inclusive playspaces across Australia.
This one in Ryde, NSW is no exception. Synthetic Grass and Rubber Surfaces were commissioned by Ryde Council to bring the space to life again by removing synthetic grass and laying new colourful rubber wetpour.
